  • Is capable of creating new designs that are uptodate and trendy
  • Is skilled with Sketch and Zeplin

  • Has a history of communicating with clients directly

Goals And Responsibilities

  • Hold kickoff meetings with clients to understand their needs and goals
  • Supervise a group of junior designers to design mobile web apps
  • Help the project manager to ensure projects are finished in time with high quality
  • Hold handoff meetings with customers as well as training
  • Create new templates each year for trending designs
  • Help Core team develop new features to keep designs fresh and trendy

People Managed

  • Supervise 2-3 junior designers alongside the project manager to make sure they are following the design structure/pattern suggested in a timely fashion.
  • Managing customer expectations and scope creep.

Primary People Contacts

  • Reports to the CTO yet is supervised by the Project Manager.
  • Speaks to clients directly.
  • Supervises Junior Designers

Review Process

After the sales team close a client, you will hold a kickoff meeting to understand the clients branding and mobile app goals. Once this is complete, you will come up with a design strategy to implement using tools. After getting sign off from the client, you or another junior designer will then begin implementing. Upon completion, a handoff meeting is made with the client to give them the reigns of their app as well as a brief training session on how to use the application.
