Our client is revolutionizing the world of email for marketers everywhere.  Their flagship product, enables senders of commercial email to change content within messages post-send, reacting in real-time to conditions of each email opener, such as mobile device in use, time of day, geolocation, or even the weather.  
As Sr. Manager, Enterprise Accounts your primary responsibility will be closing opportunities with firms employing over 100 employees and sending over 1 million email messages a month in the western United States and Canada.
  • Close business opportunities sourced:
  • Independently
  • Via the company’s lead generation operations
  • Via the company’s marketing efforts (trade shows, webinars, etc)
  • Log all interactions with prospects using the company’s CRM application,
  • Perform software demos of the Email software application using Gotomeeting, the company’s web conferencing software.
  • Prepare proposal responses to RFPs and client inquiries
  • Develop an understanding of how the software works; explain features and benefits of the software to marketers and technical buyers
  • Overcome objections from prospects and provide solutions and responses to common questions
  • Diligently follow up with prospects; remain organized so you keep a steady pipeline of opportunities flowing in
  • Collaborate with the company’s lead generation team as needed
  • Attend trade shows/conferences to demonstrate the software and meet with prospective clients
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings; share lessons learned and best practices with your teammates
  • 4-year degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline
  • 5 + years of previous sales experience required
    • Experience selling in the email marketing industry is required
    • Experience selling software-as-a-service products required
    • Experience closing deals between 25K – 500K
  • It is estimated you would travel 2-4 days each month.  Some months may require more travel.
