  • Work in conjunction with Sales, Account Management and Product Management, to be the technical bridge between our Sales/Account Management teams and their prospects/clients
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Develop implementation plans for complex use cases
  • Provide subject-matter-expertise on how products and solutions impact customer value streams in a variety of industries and customer verticals
  • Identify product/solution capability gaps and define ways to accommodate customer needs
  • Work directly with Product Management, Account Management and Professional Services to improve and expand products and solutions
  • Provide knowledge and training on products to sales staff in the organization
  • Work to ensure the long-term success of the customer
  • Conduct proof-of-value projects from start to finish proving how our solutions will solve the customers problems.
  • Respond to functional and technical RFI/RFP requirements and mapping said requirements to the software solution
  • Must be successful selling to Enterprise and Mid-Market executives, and convincing C-level and director level executives of the technical merits of the software solution
  • Evangelize the solution at field events such as conferences, seminars, trade shows, speaking engagements, etc.

  • 3 - 5 years successful track record in sales engineering or technical account management
  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge in web / scripting technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SaaS applications
  • Experience in the email marketing industry preferred. A strong working knowledge of industry players, general product and company positioning of the players, relative strength and weaknesses of the players would be a huge bonus.
  • 50% of time requires domestic travel, with 2-3 international trips per year
  • A minimum of 3 references will be checked in the hiring process
