The SVP of Digital Marketing and Experience is responsible for leading all digital marketing, content and experience initiatives across the company.  In particular, the incumbent should be a results oriented digital leader capable of driving and/or enabling break-through growth in sales through digital channels.  Equally as important, this role requires an exceptional ability to collaborate, influence and persuade across a broad group of internal partners as well as external agencies.  Ultimately, this role is responsible for ensuring the firm’s digital marketing strategy is driving the rapid transformation of the company and is closely aligned with the broader strategic direction of the company.
  • Lead all inbound marketing efforts, including content marketing and all social channels, with a focus on establishing inbound marketing as a significant contributor of qualified leads and sales.
  • Lead all digital performance marketing efforts, working with external and internal partners to drive qualified leads and sales through digital distribution channels.
  • Lead all customer facing digital experience efforts, including the website, product pages and landing pages.
  • Work closely with internal partners to optimize lead flow experiences and continually optimize.  This role is directly responsible for all digital lead nurturing activities.
  • Lead all digital reputation activities.
  • Lead all digital tactical marketing activities company-wide.
  • Ensure that the company’s digital strategy is closely aligned with the broader company strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop comprehensive and insightful reporting to showcase how the channel is performing and highlight areas of opportunity.
  • Develop and ensure adherence to the corporate wide digital policies, including email and social..
  • Communicate email best practices and facilitate understanding across the company.  
  • Ensure consistency of brand and customer experience across all digital touch-points.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably with firm or agency with a strong reputation in digital marketing and experience.
  • A proven people leader, capable of driving both results and consensus across a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
Specific Skills:
  • In depth knowledge of the broader digital marketing and experience ecosystem, with proven experience in driving results to the benefit of both customers and the company.
  • Incumbent should have a strong understanding of SEO, digital performance marketing social media, and content marketing.
  • Understanding of usability and customer experience principles in a digital environment
  • Experience with marketing automation software like Eloqua, Marketo, or Hubspot.
  • Understanding of web design and HTML/CSS
  • Strong analytical skills essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization, and time-management skills
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to lead across a matrixed organization.
  • Strong intellect and judgment as well as creative problem solving skills.
