Our client, is seeking an Information Security Analyst join the Information Security Division located in New York City. This position will report to the Manager of Information Security, and be a part of the team responsible for securing Sony’s information assets, services and the employees that depend on them, thus, enabling trust with customers, stakeholders, and employees while protecting their privacy.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in conducting information security assessments utilizing appropriate information security control structures, developing risk remediation plans, and facilitating risk remediation efforts
  • Assist in developing procedures and policies in accordance with global information security and privacy standards
  • Assist in facilitating the exception management process, tracking exceptions and evaluating associated risks by working with the other information security staff, and coordinating communication with the risk owner
  • Support the integration of security and risk management best practices into business projects and initiatives
  • Analyze, track, and report security exceptions and remediation efforts to security management
  • Validate, triage, and respond to alerts generated through security monitoring tools
  • Assist in deployment and tracking of information security training including phishing campaign deployments
  • Assist in gathering and reporting security data metrics
  • Assist in developing security presentations and training aimed at various audiences
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or similar field is preferred, or other equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in information security
  • Knowledge of operational security areas preferred
  • Knowledge of other information security industry standards (e.g. PCI DSS, NIST) desirable
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle complex or difficult issues
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and tactfully with both business-oriented executives and technology-oriented colleagues
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to work on multiple projects, and the ability to adapt to dynamic work environment and to prioritize tasks accordingly
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or similar industry certification(s) preferred
  • Eligible to work in the USA
