Reporting to the CRO, our retention manager would oversee all the retention and referral marketing activities and initiatives across the organization. The retention manager will support the CRO by using various tactics to promote and educate users about our product, retain customers, and grow share of game play with existing users. The position requires a person with an entrepreneurial mindset, a test-and-learn orientation, creativity and a deep quantitative skill set. Our retention marketing lead’s chief objective is to have oversight of all aspects of retention marketing, including review and approval of promotions, measurement of outcomes, increase in referral, and differentiation of our brands. Essential Requirements
 
  • A track record working in a strategy, CRM, or referral capacity
  • Solid understanding of business planning, marketing testing and reporting methodology
  • Experience with customer lifecycle and segmentation strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once and proactively identify new projects
  • Ability to succinctly communicate both verbally and in writing, and provide clear direction on projects
  • Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Meticulous attention to detail
 
Desirable Skills
 
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Experience with digital ad retargeting is a plus
